Jeanie Bella, Professional Artist / Performer / Writer 

 

Jeanie Bella is the founder of Manifesting Authentic. Jeanie is a multimedia artist, model, actor, performer, writer, activist, and licensed clinical social worker. Manifesting Authentic’s mission is to create, inspire, and explore abstract themes, self-expression, empowerment, and activism through art. Jeanie primarily works on multimedia indie, thriller, fantasy, romance, horror, and activism projects.

ABOUT THE ARTIST 

​

Jeanie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 2019.  She grew up in Connecticut, after her grandparents immigrated from Minturno Italy. Jeanie’s personal recovery, educational background in psychology and social justice, and family heritage are inspirations for a lot of her works. 

Jeanie dedicated 10 years to her academic studies in psychology and returned on screen in 2023 for Connecticut’s feature film, “Founder’s Day”, a psychological and political horror film. To date, Jeanie continues to collaborate with local artists and expand her portfolio across multiple mediums.  She has taken courses in digital photography, sculpture, figure drawing, painting, and contemporary dance. 

 

Jeanie grew up being influenced by renaissance era art, European culture, spirituality, hardcore punk, heavy metal, cult classic horror, hippie, and street culture. Her artistry is further inspired by Carl Jung’s “Shadow Work”, Pina Bauch’s “The Rite of Spring”, psychological thrillers such as “Coherence”, “Everything Everywhere All At Once”, “Memento”, and “The Machinist”, Director’s, David Lynch and Robert Eggers, and actors William DaFoe, Mia Goth, and Jennifer Lawrence, to name a few.
